
Tania Hernández Velasco (they/them) makes films that reimagine body, territory, and identity beyond colonial legacies in the center of México through intimate, collaborative, and speculative gestures. They directed Titixe (2018) and Eclipsis (2022); co-directed All Which Has A Name Exists (2025) with Marina Lameiro; and co-directed Our Body Is an Expanding Star (2025) with Semillites Hernández Velasco. Their work has been presented in more than 70 international film festivals, including IDFA, Ann Arbor, FICUNAM, Ambulante, Punto de Vista, Full Frame, BlackStar, D'A Barcelona, Biarritz, and Málaga.
